I think that you've set a very aggressive agenda for yourself in promoting and building out Vignette's Social Media efforts. All CFO's like aggressive efforts, so that's a good thing.
Where I would edit your presentation or add talking points would be around how this position can help Vignette with achieving its business goals. For example for the external strategy, my first reaction to your slide 4 was "What tangible benefits does that bring to our organization?" How will your efforts with Twitter, LinkedIn, external communities, etc. really help Vignette?
I'm not trying to be critical hear, but CFOs can be really tough in a recession. Any talking points about how your efforts will bring additional success stories to help sales, enhancements to products through a reinvigorated developers' community, build awareness for Vignette products through the use of external sites to act as beacons delivering traffic to vignette.com, etc. will really make this a much more exciting and 'bullet-proof' presentation. It seems too soft right now, so any way you can use business objectives or KPIs to drive home your targets and anticipated results will help you.

Your feedback is excellent , thanks for taking the time to comment. Being aggressive is the only way i know to do things, in this case i want to create a sense of urgency..Both of which sometimes get me in trouble
This statement will get incorporated into next version "talking points about how your efforts will bring additional success stories to help sales, enhancements to products through a reinvigorated developers' community, build awareness for Vignette products through the use of external sites to act as beacons delivering traffic to vignette.com, etc."
thanks. dirk
Thanks again for the feedback.
